Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi said on state television that ‘his government did not participate in any talks to end the war. We have no plans to negotiate.’
Iran’s state television Press TV, citing a senior political security official, said, ‘Iran itself will decide to end the war and that will happen only when our own conditions are met.’ Iran has also given some conditions to end the war.
On the other hand, the White House press secretary emphasized that the US and Iran are negotiating, although Iranian officials have denied it. Caroline Levitt said Wednesday, ‘negotiations are underway.’
