Azhari’s visa revoked, ordered to leave Australia before end of tour

The Bangladeshi preacher was touring Australia’s Brisbane , Melbourne , Sydney and Canberra as part of his  Legacy of Faith  series , the report said . The government made the announcement midway through the tour.

The report also said that Azhari’s visa was cancelled on Tuesday. He is now waiting to leave Australia. Azhari was previously banned from entering the UK and from holding public religious gatherings in Bangladesh.

Australian Liberal Senator Jonathan Duniam said on Wednesday that he and other MPs had been alerted to Azhari’s arrival by various groups.  I know that a number of MPs have been contacted by various groups, including the Australian Federation for Ethnic and Religious Minorities  based in Bangladesh, ” he told the Senate.
