The head of Russia’s state nuclear agency Rosatom has warned that the situation at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant is deteriorating and recent attacks pose a direct threat to nuclear security.

Repeated attacks in Bushehr area are alarming and could pose a major nuclear risk, he said on Saturday. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that this is the third attack around the Bushehr center in the last 10 days.

However, according to the agency, according to Iranian data, there was no damage to the reactor working on the power plant and no radiation was spread.

Continued military strikes around nuclear facilities could pose a risk of major accidents, which could have serious implications for regional and global security.
